Terms of Service

The Service

CardPilot helps trading card sellers identify cards from photos and prepare eBay listings. AI identification, pricing data, and exports are provided as tools — you are responsible for reviewing listings before publishing them to any marketplace.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and keeping credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use paid features.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Circumvent usage limits, billing, or security controls.
• Use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent marketplace listings.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos and listing content you upload. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service (including running AI identification on your images).

AI and listing accuracy

Card identification and suggested titles or prices are automated and may be incorrect. You must review all output before exporting or listing cards. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or marketplace compliance of generated listings.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis unless cancelled.
• Free tier limits (such as monthly listing caps) apply as described on our pricing page.
• You may cancel Pro at any time from billing settings; access continues through the current billing period.
• Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at checkout.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties such as eBay, Stripe, Google, and TCGPlayer catalog data. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms or changes they make.

Referral program

If you participate in our referral or affiliate program, additional rules shown in the app apply. We may modify or discontinue referral rewards with reasonable notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARDPILOT AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
